Entering The Mishkan: How Our High Holy Day Prayerbook and Rituals Help Us Mark Sacred Time
Led by Rabbi Jennifer Frenkel
Three Wednesdays, August 3, 10 & 17, 10:30-11:45 am (via Zoom)
We know the immense power of joining together in communal prayer, but our tradition also affirms the sacred act of personal connection. Our High Holy Day Machzor (prayerbook), Mishkan HaNefesh, provides us with the opportunities for both, along with an accessible guide through the journey of t'shuvah (repentance) and cheshbon hanefesh (self-reflection), and meaningful ways to bridge the ritual and ethical dimensions of the High Holy Day season. Join Rabbi Frenkel for this three-session Adult Education series as we explore our prayerbook and begin to prepare ourselves for this sacred time of year.
